Free Scrapbook Backgrounds- A Dream Come True!

free scrapbook backgroundsSo I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Picaboo… but it offers a really fun and affordable way to do digital scrapbooking. The company allows you to download their free software that comes with 18 themes, over 90 different page layouts,  fonts, and backgrounds. You can also download over 16,000 of their free scrapbook backgrounds to be used in conjunction with their software. Of course, you can purchase your own as well, but I like free!

Once you’ve completed your scrapbook you have the convenient option of ordering it in printed form through Picaboo. They have many different binding and book styles to choose from.

The other thing you can do is scan your pre-made layouts and have them turned into a complete scrapbook. This is a great way to duplicate a completed scrapbook that you’ve made and give it as a gift, or two…

You can also scan your memorabilia such as cards, concert tickets, you know, those little things you’ve saved over the years hoping to incorporate into a layout. All you have to do is save it as a jpg. and upload it into the software as an image and place it where you want.

The other thing I like about this company is that they give you step by step instructions and directions on how to incorporate things into your layouts. It is super easy to use, but for those of us just getting into the digital age, they offer help!

  3. I’ve used Picaboo in my search for a good quality photo book. I love all their layouts, but wanted more flexibility. I finally found Mixbook.com. It is very flexible – you can may your own layouts or use their layout, but still change the size and placement of the photos. The quality is good and their prices are about half of Picaboo.

  5. Scrapbooking is a method for savingpreservingchangingrememberingsavoring personal and family history in the form of photographs, printed media, and memorabilia contained in decorated albums, or scrapbooks. The thought of keeping printed materials of personal interest probably dates to shortly after the invention of printing. This trend is probably similar for photographs.,
